My practice grows out of a fascination with nature, imagination and storytelling. Nature is an inexhaustible source of forms for me – from the human and animal body to plants, marine life, and the structures, rhythms and surfaces found in the natural world.

I bring these observations together with elements drawn from mythology, fairy tales, dreams and fantasy, creating a visual world that moves between the real and the imagined.

My practice centres primarily on sculpture and painting, while increasingly expanding into relief, large-scale and spatial work. I move freely between materials and techniques, working with clay, papier-mâché, wood, metal, textiles and found materials. Experimentation is an essential part of my process: an idea will often lead me towards a new material, a different technique, or a solution I have never explored before.

I am less interested in defining my work through a single medium or fixed form than in allowing my visual language to continue evolving – somewhere between nature and imagination, figuration and transformation, the familiar and the strange.
