Some artworks are just not meant to behave.
I mean… how could you possibly create a quiet, modest peacock? You just can’t.
This one is a full-on explosion of color and joy – just the way I like it.
While working on this peacock, I went all in with mixed media.
There was watercolor, ink markers, brush pens, colored pencils – basically everything I could get my hands on.
And instead of rules, I followed instinct and had a whole lot of fun.
The result? A peacock that’s bold, bright, and beautifully messy.
Strong contrasts, expressive lines, vivid hues.
Exactly the kind of piece that reminds me why I love creating – because at the heart of it, art is about joy.
