You know that moment when you look at something and have absolutely no idea what it’s supposed to be?
Well… you’re looking at one of those moments right now.
This odd skeleton made of metal and wood might seem like something from a sci-fi movie set, but don’t worry – it’s all under control (well, mostly 😅).
What’s really taking shape here is… an American alligator!
Yes, you read that right. A full-scale, life-sized sculpture – about 3 meters of creative madness just getting started.
This is just the internal framework – a raw structure built to support the layers that will eventually shape a wild, expressive, organic form.
I’ve always loved starting from scratch – from bare-bone constructions to carefully crafted details that give the final piece its personality.
This project is more than a sculpture – it’s a face-to-face encounter with a beast. Something majestic, untamed, and honestly… a little funny.
